Golf Photography

All systems go. We we're out on the course at last to do our first ever on-location photoshoot for Go Low.

It was so exciting to get out on the course (thanks to Newquay G.C) for Go Low photoshoot No.1. After months of organising, making and a million other different tasks to get everything in place for our website launch we were ready for some proper golf photography. So, with friends of Go Low – Jay Pickersgill (Photographer – Instagram), Luke Dillon (Male model – Instagram) and Gem Marsland (Female model – Instagram) we set off.

Before the shoot we had asked our models to test our systems by ordering whatever custom golf shirts they wanted as well as a custom golf towel (see what they ordered below).

We got so lucky with the weather. A mix of sun and dark cloud set up the scene perfectly and Jay set about his business. Shooting a mix of action and portrait shots using combinations of the shirts, towels and a selection hats and snoods. The results speak for themselves.

The shots will be used across a variety of media. Our website, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), adverts, press releases and more.

We got so many good shots during the shoot. We couldn’t have asked for it to go any better. Go Low would like to extend their thanks to everyone who made it possible. Newquay Golf Club for allowing us access. Dan Kendle (NGC Head Greenkeeper), Jay, Luke & Gem.

Go Low, you legends.
